What's on the PC Computer Desktop?

Using Window Resizing Buttons

Many times you will have more than one window open on your PC desktop. How will you find the one you want? You have two options: Moving Windows or Using the Task Bar. Read below to learn more.

Using the Task Bar

If you have more than one window or program open on a PC, they will all show up on the Task Bar at the bottom of your computer desktop.

Clicking on the desired window icon will open it or bring it to the front of your computer desktop. Simple!

Moving Windows

One way to see two windows at the same time is to move the top window to one side of your desktop. To move a window click and hold on the top bar, as shown below. Then, using your mouse, move the window to another place on your desktop.

If you would like to make a window smaller, move your cursor over the lower right corner of the window until you see a double-headed arrow. With the double-headed arrow, click and hold, and then drag up and to the left until your window is the size you desire. To make your window larger, click and hold on the lower right corner again, and drag it to the right until it is the desired size. If you can see part of the window you want to view, just click on it, and it will pop to the front of your desktop.
