Open PhotoStudio on the launcher
Go to file/open.
Navigate to the graphic you want to resize. Select the graphic and click open.
Once the graphic is open on your desktop go to image/resize.
When the resize dialog box appears make sure that proportions is checked, file size is not, and the unit is set to inches. Make sure the resolution is 72. Then set the width or height (you only need to change one) to the size you want. A graphic like this one (about 8" x 10") will fill a whole page when printed. You would want the graphic this big if you were sending your teacher a paper you scanned. For pictures that are going in presentations you would probably want your graphic about 3" x 4". When you are ready to resize click OK.
To save your resized graphic go to file/save as......
Navigate to the folder that you want to save your graphic in. Give your graphic a name and type .jpeg at the end. Some computers won't recognize this file as a graphic without the .jpeg. Click save.
The file format dialog box will appear. Check JPEG and set the quality to medium. Click OK. Your graphic will be saved.
When resizing graphics it is sometimes tempting to make a small graphic bigger. When you do this the big graphic will not look very good. Resizing graphics is usually done to make the graphic smaller, not larger.
